Summer Intern Helped the Horses

Mylestone was very fortunate to have Lucy Milligan do an internship with us over the summer. Lucy has been attending college in France, and needed to do an internship for school. Lucy’s family have been longtime sponsors for many years now.

Lucy got firsthand experience of the hard work that goes into the daily care of the horses.

She helped with mucking, bringing some of the horses into the barn, picking paddocks, and feeding at different meals. She was able to observe vet visits on many occasions. Lucy also helped with making note cards for our Holiday gift sponsorships so we had a head start. She got to groom many of the horses as well.

Lucy was a great asset to have at the farm and we wish her well with her studies now that she is back in France.
